Applying Online  

The online application is split into 5 sections as described below:

Personal Details - Information about how to contact you (e.g. address, phone) & your lifestyle (e.g. smoker / height / weight / occupation).

Insurance History - Information about any current cover you may have and any previous applications for cover.

Medical Information - Questions about your previous health history. The application process will ask you further information regarding any medical conditions that you have or have ever had.

Activities Residency - Information on your NZ residency status & any hazardous activities you might pursue (e.g. sky diving, parachuting).

Payment Information - How and when you wish to pay for this policy (Note, your premiums are only payable once a policy is accepted by an insurer).


What information do I need?

In order to complete your application for cover as quickly as possible, you should consider ensuring you have the following information ready:

- Doctor / Medical practice contact details
- Information regarding any past medical conditions
- Bank account or Credit card details

If you are unable to obtain the information you require during the application process, you can save it and return at a later date to complete.


How long does it take?

This depends on a number of factors. Firstly, your answers to the questions dictate whether you may have to provide further information. Secondly, it will depend on how quickly your browser is able to load each page. Our site is designed to be quick to load on all major browsers. It usually takes an average application approximately 15-30 minutes to complete (note time is longer if you are completing a joint application, as you must both answer the questions asked).

WHAT WILL YOU USE MY INFORMATION FOR?

Should you wish to apply for cover the personal details we collect will be sent to your selected provider to process your application. We are required to keep client records.

Regardless of your making an application it is possible that from time to time we may contact you with promotions we think you may be interested in or to introduce you to new services we are launching.

We will also send out our electronic newsletter to clients to keep you up to date with what’s going on with us. If you do not wish to be contacted with this information please let us know.

HOW CAN I ACCESS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
